SUM OF PARTS
A new direction for Ware London, exploring the potential of leather and silver while maintaining underlying sustainable principles.
Sum of Parts dances with the interplay between constructed shape and human form, pieces that come alive with the wearer. Bold lines intersect, outline and highlight, shapes are formed in the negative space between the body and the piece.
Bold leather forms structured by silver elements envelop the body, inviting attention. Flowing lines playfully trace contours, circles focus the gaze and embrace limbs. Silver geometry sits in contrast to the organic curves of the neck, wrist and finger.
Muted tones of nude, tan, warm grey and dark blue vegetable tanned leather are paired with polished silver, both bright and oxidized.
The design process is fuelled by an attitude to life and an innate need not to conform. The intention, to inspire a feeling of liberation; adorned, powerful, swathed, unique.
